The team owners and squad composition ahead of the World Tennis League (WTL) debut in India was announced on Monday. The tournament, which features popular tennis stars Nick Kyrgios and Daniil Medvedev among others, is set to be played in Bengaluru from December 17-20. The upcoming season will feature four teams, featuring a set of four players each.

Game Changers Falcons, who are also the defending champions, feature Daniil Medvedev, Rohan Bopanna, Magda Linette, Sahaja Yamalapall. John Laffnie De Jager is the coach of the team.

VB Realty Hawks (owned by Vashu Bhagnani) comprise a formidable squad featuring Denis Shapovalov, Yuki Bhambri, Elina Svitolina, Maaya Revathi. Robert Lindstedt is the team coach.

Aussie Mavericks Kites is home to one of most popular Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios. He is joined by Dhakshineshwar Suresh, Marta Kostyuk, Ankita Raina and Julian Knowle is the coach.

AOS Eagles features Gael Monfils, Sumit Nagal, Paula Badosa, Shrivalli Bhamidipaty, with Mark Gellard being the coach.

As Bengaluru opens its doors to players from around the globe, WTL’s first season in India promises a blend of top-tier talent and genuine sporting spirit.
