14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has made history by getting shortlisted for the IPL 2025 mega auction.

Vaibhav trained under Manish Ojha, a former Ranji player post his U-16 trials for the Vijay Merchant Trophy.

At the mere age of 12, he played the Vinoo Mankad Trophy for Bihar accumulating around 400 runs in just five matches.

He was picked in India B U-19 team for an Under-19 quadrangular series in Mulapadu, Andhra Pradesh in November 2023.

However, he couldn’t perform well in the U-19 but made a comeback in U-23.

He impressed Bihar selectors in a U-23 selection camp and earned a place in the state’s Ranji Trophy squad.
