Since its inception in 1983, the Asia Cup has served as a stage for Asia’s leading cricket nations to battle for regional supremacy, taking place every two years under the banner of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, renowned for his mastery over swing, holds the record for the most wickets in Asia Cup T20 history. Across six matches in the tournament, he has claimed 13 wickets at an impressive average of 9.46, including a standout five-wicket haul.

Former UAE skipper Amjad Javed sits second on the list, having picked up 12 wickets in seven appearances at an average of 14.08, establishing himself as one of his nation’s finest bowlers.

In third place is Mohammad Naveed, feared for his pinpoint yorkers. He has taken 11 wickets in seven matches at an average of 13.18, while maintaining an economy rate of just 5.24.
