Anyone can look up to Virat Kohli's genius in cricket and he is surely one of the best to ever play the game. Kohli's knack for the game is a treasure that he has frequently handed over to the younger generation. Interestingly, an old video of Jemimah Rodrigues is going viral after her heroics in the recent semifinal of the Women's World Cup against Australia.
In the clip, she said that once she and fellow player Smriti Mandhana talked to Virat Kohli on their New Zealand tour for almost four hours as both teams were staying in the same hotel. Jemimah revealed that she and Smriti decided to go to him to get some batting advice.

We had asked him 'we want to speak to you Virat bhaiya about batting. Can we meet?'. We were in the same hotel in New Zealand. He was like 'yeah sure, come'. So he called us at the cafe and Anushka Sharma was also there," she revealed during her appearance on The Ranveer Show.
Although the meeting was supposed to be brief, their conversation ended up going much longer than planned.
"We had asked him for just a few minutes but we ended up speaking for four hours. We spoke half an hour about batting but after that it was just normal things," she added.
During their discussion, Jemimah also sought Kohli’s guidance on managing the immense pressure and expectations that come with success.

If you've scored a fifty, it's like you have underperformed for people. So how do you handle that expectation?' He said 'for me every time I am out there on the field, I just look at the scoreboard and just focus on it. Do that and don't focus on crowd and what I can do to help India win. If I stop giving these expectations importance, and just look at the process, the results will automatically follow'."

Power-packed was the word for Jemimah Rodrigues as she scored 127 runs from 134 balls with 14 fours, and what’s more, she was not out.
After watching the match, Virat Kohli could not stop himself from appreciating the single-handed effort of the Indian cricketer against the seven-time world champions, Australia. In fact, he went on to say that the very instance was a "resilience, belief, and passion" to the power of three.
“What a victory by our team over a mighty opponent like Australia. A great chase by the girls and a standout performance by Jemimah in a big game. A true display of resilience, belief, and passion. Well done, Team India," Kohli wrote on X.
