Rohit Sharma is a great tactician and has led India to two ICC titles in less than a year - T20 World Cup 2024 and Champions Trophy 2025. However, the Indian skipper does have a temper issue, which is often visible on the field. Rohit was seen losing his cool at Kuldeep Yadav during the recently-concluded Champions Trophy and now a fresh video has surfaced, which shows the Indian captain not holding back against the paparazzi.
The Indian skipper was seen vividly irked in the video as the shutterbugs come too close to his family, forcing Rohit to take matter into his own hands. In the video, Rohit can be seen scolding the paparazzi gathered at a parking lot as they try to get some shots of his daughter Samaira. The cricketer then quickly pulls Samaira behind, shielding the kid from the consistent flashlights.
Rohit then helped Samaira get into the car, following which he asks the group of photographers to get into a line before posing for pictures. Here is the video:
Recently in an interaction with JioHotstar, which was after India won the Champions Trophy, Rohit touched upon his anger issue on the field. In defense of his outburst against Kuldeep during the Champions Trophy semi-final match against Australia, the Indian captain stated that his actions were not intended to cause harm to anyone. In fact, Rohit has frequently been spotted reprimanding his players for being careless on the pitch and failing to take necessary action.
"We have an incredibly solid team, and it’s a joy to play alongside such committed individuals. Everyone knows their role and responsibilities. Of course, emotions run high on the field. Sometimes, I get a bit carried away, but it’s all in the spirit of the game," Rohit said. "The words exchanged on the ground aren’t meant to hurt anyone or show off—they are just an expression of our passion. At the end of the day, our main goal is to win, and we are ready to do whatever it takes to achieve that," he added.
