West Indies, the co-host of the T20 men’s world cup, said it has received security threats to the tournament from a Pakistan-based terror group, according to a report by Cricbuzz. However, Cricket West Indies (CWI), the organising board, has assured all necessary steps are being taken to ensure a safe tournament, the report said.

The T20 world cup is set to take place between June 1 and June 29 and will be co-hosted by West Indies and the US.
