Rajasthan Royals exploited toothless bowling along with sloppy fielding and dropped catches to beat Mumbai Indians by 9 wickets. Jaiswal scored a powerful century to steer his team home as they chased 180 runs against the Mumbai Indians.

Rajasthan Royals started-off their innings well with Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler playing a few shots without losing wickets for the first five overs with 44 runs on the board. After the first powerplay, light rain delayed the game for some time but Royals were comfortably placed at 61/0 after 6 overs. Piyush Chawla gets the breakthrough for Mumbai as he gets Buttler’s wicket for 35 runs. Jaiswal completed his 50 runs in 31 balls as Samson joins him in the middle. Jaiswal and Samson built up a partnership for second wicket and scored quick runs to make things worse for Mumbai Indians. Jaiswal scored his century in 59 balls as RR chase 180 successfully against Mumbai Indians.

Yashasvi is back in form

After failing in previous 6 innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal returned to form in style scoring 109* runs. ‘Wonder Boy’ Jaiswal was expected to play big innings for Rajasthan Royals and here he played one for his team. His team also expressed confidence in him as despite repeated failures, they continued with Jaiswal so far in the tournament.
