The third Test between India and England had plenty of heated moments. One of them came at the business end of the match when India were seven down in their chase of 193 runs, with Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Kumar Reddy at the crease. Fast bowler Brydon Carse bowled a length ball outside the off-stump. Jadeja went for the shot, calling for two runs while watching the ball. During the run, Carse and Jadeja collided as both were focused on the ball.
The English pacer was visibly upset by the collision and was seen saying a few words to the Indian all-rounder. Jadeja calmly walked up to him, explaining that he was watching the ball and didn’t see Carse while running between the wickets.
As the replay showed, Jadeja kept his eyes fixed on the ball during the collision, which seemed to be the root of the mix-up. As tensions began to rise, England skipper Ben Stokes stepped in promptly to ease the situation. His timely involvement helped cool things down, allowing the game to continue smoothly.
