IPL 2025, KKR complete schedule: Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will hope for a strong show in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which gets underway from March 22. KKR will kick-start the brand new season against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Both teams have announced new captains with seasoned cricketer Ajinkya Rahane taking the mantle in the KKR camp. RCB too has announced Madhya Pradesh batter Rajat Patidar as their new leader.

All ten teams will play 14 matches each during the league stage, which will see a total of 70 matches being played. The playoffs will be held between May 20 to May 25. Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will take place on May 20 and 21, respectively, at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
The Qualifier 2 and the final will be conducted at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Qualifier 2 will be played on May 23 and the final will take place on May 25.
Kolkata Knight Riders have won the IPL three times with ex-India batter Gautam Gambhir playing crucial roles on all three occasions. The franchise will be targeting their fourth title.
