Arjun Tendulkar to leave Mumbai Indians for Lucknow Super Giants: Report

Arjun Tendulkar had switched to Goa from Mumbai in domestic cricket a couple of years ago, and has since featured in 21 first-class matches.

While the buzz is around Ravindra Jadeja and Sanju Samson there is an another development brewing in the backdrop ahead of the much-awaited IPL retentions announcement. As reported by Cricbuzz, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (MI) are engaged in talks involving Shardul Thakur and Arjun Tendulkar.

The report further stated that it may not exactly be a trade but rather two separate individual deals. An official announcement on the same can be expected before the November 15 deadline to submit retentions list.

Thakur went unsold in the IPL 2025 mega auction but was later picked by LSG as a replacement player for his base price of Rs 2 crore. He failed to make any notable contribution with the bat, but had decent returns with the ball as he registered 13 wickets in LSG's unsuccessful campaign.
