Former India captain Rohit Sharma played a sensational knock against Australia in the third and final ODI of the series to help the Men in Blue win the match with ease.

He also won Player of the Match and Player of the Series award for his performance in the 3-match ODI series. He scored 73 in the 2nd ODI and 121* in the final game against Australia.

Rohit reached his 33rd ODI hundred off 105 balls and he became the only batter with five or more hundreds in each of the three formats – 12 in Tests, 33 in ODIs and 5 in T20Is.

Rohit also became the first visiting batsman to hit six ODI 100s in Australia, going ahead of Virat Kohli (5) and Kumar Sangakkara (5).
