As a child in Palakollu, Andhra Pradesh, Jahnavi Dangeti often believed the Moon quietly followed her. Years later, that childhood dream is steering her towards the stars in the most real way possible.

First Indian Chosen For Titans Space Mission
Jahnavi, aged 23, is set to become the first Indian selected for the prestigious Titans Space flight. Her journey to space will happen in 2029 through a five-hour orbital mission. The ambitious mission will circle Earth twice and offer three hours of weightlessness in zero gravity.

She is an Electronics and Communication Engineering graduate from Lovely Professional University, Punjab. Her parents, Srinivas and Padmasri, are currently working in Kuwait.

The young space enthusiast had earlier completed NASA’s International Air and Space Programme. Now, as an astronaut candidate for the US-based Titans Space, she will fly aboard the Orbital Port Space Station, expected to launch in four years.
