Late industrialist Ratan Tata, who was fond of animals, made special arrangements in his will for his dear pet dog, Tito.

Tata allocated ₹12 lakh for Tito’s well-being, ensuring ₹30,000 is disbursed every quarter for his care and maintenance.

According to Tata’s will, completed in February 2022, Tito will be taken care of by Rajan Shaw, Tata’s loyal cook.

Tito was adopted six years ago when Tata’s earlier pet, also called Tito, died, and he became a beloved companion.

In 2018, Tata skipped an award ceremony organized by King Charles to remain with his sick pet, reflecting how much he loves animals.

When he heard that Tata missed the ceremony for his pet, then-Prince Charles commended him, stating, “That’s the man Ratan is.”
