Flossie is 26 years and 329 days old – that translates into about 120 in human years. She is still cute and playful.

After 26 happy years with her owner, Flossie was passed over to Cats Protection in 2022 after becoming homeless.

She was surrendered by her former owner out of love, who knew he could no longer provide for her.

Few older cats get adopted, but Flossie wasn’t long in finding a new ideal mum – Vicki Green.

Initially, Flossie was confused and meowed during the night. She is now sleeping soundly on the bed with Vicki.

Vicki had no idea her new furry companion would be a Guinness World Record holder. What a purr-fect surprise!
