• Offer the lamp while reciting the Damodarashtakam prayer, a hymn glorifying the divine lila of Mother Yashoda binding Krishna.
• Move the lamp in circular motions: 4 rounds at His Lotus feet, 2 at His navel, 3 at His face, and 7 rounds around His entire form, symbolizing your complete surrender and love.
• Offer the lamp with faith and devotion, believing that the Lord accepts even the simplest offering made with pure intent.
