Exclusive: India, Kazakhstan strengthen bilateral trade relations

Moneycontrol's Sakshi Batra, Kazakhstan Ambassador Yerlan Alimbayev highlights how Nur-Sultan and New Delhi are working to foster a stronger bond.

India's key political, economic and trade partner, Kazakhstan is strengthening ties with New Delhi. Trade turnover between Kazakhstan and India amounted to $1.6 billion in 2019, which is the highest in Central Asia.

The two countries share a strong bond in areas such as space exploration, military-technical cooperation and IT.

In an exclusive interview with Moneycontrol's Sakshi Batra, Kazakhstan Ambassador Yerlan Alimbayev highlights how Nur-Sultan and New Delhi are working to foster a stronger bond.
