The benchmark indices rebounded strongly on Tuesday, snapping a three-session losing streak, as value buying in select sectors lifted investor sentiment. Sensex surged more than 700 points from the day's low to touch an intraday high of 81,306.50. The Nifty also reclaimed the psychological 24,800 level, rising to 24,814.60 in intraday trade. Jio Financial Services, Larsen & Toubro, Asian Paints, Bharti Airtel, and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise were among the major gainers, advancing up to 4 per cent.
