It was long, it was slow, it was gradual, but it was certain. When women began their march towards self-assertion centuries ago, they were either ridiculed or their efforts demonised.

We’ve come a long way since.  The world is a better, more tolerant place now. Women are straddling the world, scaling new heights, shattering glass ceilings, and being heard. While full global gender equality still remains a distant dream, here’s hoping every baby step will bring us a step closer towards actualising the simple dream of ‘equality’.
