A video showing Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jensen Huang sharing a “love shot” with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong and Hyundai Motor Group Executive Chairman Euisun Chung in Seoul has drawn wide attention online. According to The Korea Herald, the meeting took place at a well-known restaurant selected by Nvidia. The three executives were seen engaging in a Korean drinking custom known as a “love shot,” where two people intertwine their arms and drink together. While typically associated with couples, the gesture is also used among friends or business associates to signify mutual respect or closeness.

Footage filmed from outside the restaurant showed the trio sharing drinks and exchanging friendly gestures. Reports indicated that after the gathering, the tech leaders presented small gifts to fans waiting outside the venue.

The video quickly went viral, with social media users expressing surprise and amusement at the rare public interaction between the heads of Nvidia, Samsung, and Hyundai.

One online comment read, “Ohh, they got something cooking. I think they are going to go after the autonomous driving goal. Nvidia chips and learning environment. Samsung FABs and cameras. Hyundai's electric vehicle manufacturing.” Another user wrote, “Party hard Jensen, you deserve it.”

Others joined in with humour. “Tomorrow’s announcement: Nvidia buys Samsung and partners with Hyundai,” one person joked, while another commented, “Shots, shots, shots, shots, shots, shots!!!!”

Fans informally dubbed the encounter the “chimaek summit,” combining the Korean words “chicken” and “maekju” (beer), a popular pairing in South Korean social gatherings.

During his visit to South Korea, Huang spoke briefly to the media about his schedule and upcoming meetings. “I’m looking forward to seeing your president tomorrow at APEC, and Korea and Nvidia have many announcements, and I have many incredible partners here, and we have many announcements to make,” he told The Korea Herald.

“I just arrived (in Korea). We just landed a few hours ago. Plenty to talk about (regarding HBM with Samsung Electronics). We will talk about many things,” he added.

Huang, Lee, and Chung were all in South Korea ahead of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, where discussions were expected to include technology partnerships and semiconductor collaborations.
