One of the most powerful woman in the world today, Christine Lagarde, head of IMF and former finance minister of France continue to say that it is no surprise that an Icelandic private equity fund wholly managed by women is the only such fund who have made it through the financial crises without a hitch.

In February 2009, Iceland citizens chose a woman as a Prime Minister in the midst of the country's financial crises. Since then, Brazil, Argentina, Australia and Thailand have chosen women leaders and for the first time ever so many of the world's largest corporations have women in the c-suite.  So, what are these Lehman Sisters doing better than the Lehman Brothers? Do women make better leaders than men?
