Zara Shatavari, an AI-generated model, has surged to the forefront, earning a spot among the top 10 finalists in the inaugural Miss AI Competition. This unprecedented contest, organised by Fanvue, has captivated global attention by showcasing the fusion of beauty, technology, and social influence. Zara, representing India, was selected from over 1,500 international entries.
Zara Shatavari was created by Rahul Choudhry, co-founder of an Indian mobile ad agency, and epitomises the blend of advanced technology and cultural authenticity. "Zara's mission is to empower individuals to live their best lives by sharing valuable insights and tips on health, career development, and the latest fashion trends," reads her website.
She has already amassed over 8,000 followers on Instagram.
Zara’s feed is a vibrant mosaic of her interests and activities: hopping on a yoga ball, basking in a tropical spa, and celebrating Diwali in a traditional red saree amidst festive candles and clay lamps.
Her profile is that of a “digital creator” and her bio reads: “India’s first AI generated brand ambassador. PCOS & Depression warrior. Foodie yet health-conscious. Travel Enthusiast. Fashion Lover.”
Rahul Choudhry, in a LinkedIn post, expressed his pride: "I am thrilled to announce that Zara Shatavari, our innovative AI influencer, has been selected as a top 10 finalist in the prestigious Miss AI Competition, out of 1,500 expert participants from around the world!"
He added: "This recognition by the FanVue World AI Creator Awards showcases Zara's outstanding contributions to the AI and influencer community. The Miss AI Competition, which began in April, is the first of its kind, organized by the World AI Creator Awards. The contestants are evaluated on their beauty, tech skills, and social influence, with a panel of four judges, including AI-generated judges Aitana Lopez and Emily Pellegrini.
The stakes are high, with a total cash prize of over $20,000, and the AI creator crowned Miss AI will receive $5,000, promotion on Fanvue, and a dedicated publicist to further their reach.
