An undated video of an Indian-origin speaker addressing a gathering of IT union workers in Seattle has gone viral on social media after she launched a scathing attack on US President Donald Trump, targeting his anti-immigration stance.
The clip, shared widely across platforms, shows the woman urging attendees to “kick the bu** of Donald Trump, kick his a**,” drawing loud applause from the audience. Her remarks came during what appeared to be a meeting of ITServe, an organisation representing immigrant tech workers. Moneycontrol could not independently verify the event’s date and location.
The speaker criticised Trump’s immigration policies, questioning his stance given his personal life. “You know the joke that they make that immigrants do all the hard work that no other person wants to do. That’s what they talk about his poor wives who got married to him as no other American would want to be with him,” she said, prompting laughter and cheers.
'The President is not god'
In her address, the woman urged members not to panic over political rhetoric, emphasising collective strength. “The fact is that the President is not god, the President is not making the laws in the country, though he thinks he makes the laws,” she said. “When you go back home, stop worrying at night. When you panic and worry, that means you have not become a member of ITServe; that means you don’t believe in your own power and the power of unity as an organisation.”
Online users want her to be deported
The video sparked sharp reactions on X, with many accusing the speaker of inciting violence. “Sounds like she’s inciting violence against President Trump. Arrest her,” one user wrote. Others criticised her tone, calling it “entitled” and “ungrateful.” Comments ranged from demands for assimilation to attacks on her cultural identity. “It’s typical, ungrateful, entitled, delusional Indian behaviour,” one post read. Another said: “She is mocking the very country which has given her a voice to speak and speak her mind.”
