Miss Universe 2023: Date, venue, time, where to watch the pageant in India

Viewers in India can watch the final competition on the Miss Universe YouTube channel and X (formerly Twitter) account, starting at 6:30 am on November 19.

The 72nd Miss Universe pageant will take place in El Salvador on November 18 with contestants from over 90 nations looking to win the coveted crown.

This year's Miss Universe pageant carries additional significance as it embraces inclusivity and progress.  Michelle Cohn from Guatemala and Maria Camila Avella Montañez from Colombia will be the first married mothers taking part in the pageant.

Also, Netherlands' Rikkie Valerie Kolle and Portugal's Marina Machete will follow in the footsteps of Angela Ponce as trans women to participate in this year's competition. The event will be hosted by Maria Menounos alongside Olivia Culpo & Jeannie Mai.

The 2023 Miss Universe pageant will be held at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in El Salvador, San Salvador.

India will be represented by 23-year-old model Shweta Sharda at the 2023 Miss Universe pageant. A graduate from the Indira Gandhi National Open University in Delhi, Sharda is from Chandigarh and moved to Mumbai with her mother at the age of 16.

Sharda has taken part in several popular TV reality shows such as Dance Plus, Dance India Dance and Dance Plus.
