Any kid's development at a younger age is not down to just the values taught by his or her parents, but also by those the child spends time with when the parents are not around to take care.
In one such recent example, an X (formerly Twitter) user identified as V.Balaji shared how his son named Ankit had earned Rs 7,000 by participating in weekend badminton tournaments and used Rs 2,000 to buy a phone for the house cook, who had been taking care of him since he was six months old.
"Ankit has so far earned 7K by playing weekend tournaments. And today he got our Cook Saroja a mobile phone for 2K from his winnings. She has been taking care of him from when he was 6 Months. As parents @meerabalaji3107 and I can’t be more happier," Balaji wrote on Wednesday.

The post saw several retweets and likes and many user comments, too, most of whom appreciated the kid for the gesture. One of them to react to the post was cricketer Dinesh Karthik, who praised the kid for "making the world brighter".
