Lamborghini appoints Sharad Agarwal as India ops head

Prior to his appointment, Agarwal has been associated with Audi India since May 2012 as Head of Corporate Sales, Fleet and Leasing and Financial Services and moved as Head of Field Forces in 2013.

Italian luxury sports car maker Lamborghini today announced appointment of former Audi India executive Sharad Agarwal as its country head.

As the Head of Lamborghini India, his role is to drive the entire spectrum of activities for Lamborghini in India, overseeing the functions of sales, marketing, after sales and network development, the company said in a statement.

The appointment is with immediate effect, it added.

Automobili Lamborghini Asia Pacific General Manager Andrea Baldi said, "Sharad comes with 15 years of experience in the automotive industry and his expertise and contribution will allow us to further strengthen the brand in a market Lamborghini considers strategic and one of the most promising thanks to the already announced arrival of the Lamborghini SUV, URUS, announced in 2018." Prior to his appointment, Agarwal has been associated with Audi India since May 2012 as Head of Corporate Sales, Fleet and Leasing and Financial Services and moved as Head of Field Forces in 2013.

He has been associated with Zuari Industries, TVS Motor Company and Mahindra First Choice.
