Gurgaon court asks Yuvraj Singh’s family to respond to domestic violence complaint by October 21

A Gurgaon court has issued a notice to cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s family to respond to a domestic violence case filed by Akanksha Sharma, married to Yuvraj’s younger brother Zoravar Singh.

Akanksha, who was also a contestant in Big Boss 10, filed the case in August against Zoravar, mother-in-law Shabnam Singh and brother-in-law Yuvraj Singh. The court has given time till October 21 for the cricketer’s family to file a response.

Now a local SDM or lady police officer will investigate this complaint and allegations and a report will be submitted to the concerned court. The court will thereafter take a decision on how to further investigate the matter.

When contacted by CNN-News18, Akanksha Sharma confirmed that she had filed a complaint against Zorawar Singh, Yuvraj Singh and Shabnam Singh.
