On April 7, the High Court had stayed the operation of ACB, saying corruption cases being probed by the Lokayukta and pending sanction for prosecution should not be transferred to the newly-formed investigation agency.

The division bench had passed the order on a petition filed by B G Chidananda Urs, a city-based advocate.
