A man in Pune has called out Paisabazaar, RBL Bank, and Bajaj Finance for repeated spam calls even after having registered for DND (Do Not Disturb). Arnav Ghatage, an analyst for a security company in the city took to X on Sunday after receiving nine spam calls from the companies.
"Received 9 calls today from Paisabazaar, RBL Bank, and Bajaj Finance," he wrote. "I block the number each time, but they always call from a new one. I've set DND everywhere and repeatedly asked them not to call, but it doesn't seem to work."
Speaking to Moneycontrol, Ghatage said he had recently taken car insurance using Bajaj Finance but had been receiving spam calls from them for two years. He had downloaded the Paisabazaar app to apply for a credit card last year and to check his credit score. "But I don't even have an account with RBL Bank. It's absurd that I am getting non-stop calls from them." He added that on average he receives four spam calls from the three companies every day.
Meanwhile, responding to his post on X, an automated message from RBL Bank stated, "Hello, we sincerely regret the inconvenience. We request you to register on http://rblbank.com/DoNotCall.aspx . Post registration, you will not receive any calls or emails from the bank. For any further assistance, reach out to us on @rblbankcares."

If someone makes a solution for this and charges…

Ghatage, however, questioned the bank that when they did not need him to register for the calls, why did he have to register to make them stop. "And they’ve made the DND process difficult," he told Moneycontrol.
While Paisabazaar and Bajaj Finance haven't responded to the post yet, this is not the first time that a post on customers getting fed up of spam calls have lambasted the companies on social media.
A senior doctor based in Bengaluru had in April hit out at HDFC after being flooded with spam calls from telecallers offering loans from the bank.
Dr Sundar Sankaran, program director at Aster Institute of Renal Transplantation, said that he tried blocking some of the numbers but the calls continued from several other numbers. He also said that after being tired of such spam calls, when he told off a loan requirement caller, another person who claimed to be the telecaller's manager called him up, demanding to know why the doctor was "rude".
