Xiaomi has updated its laptop portfolio with the launch of Mi Notebook Pro X 15 in China. The top of the line laptop features Intel's newest Core i5 and i7 processors, has a 15.6-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 3456x2160 and is built on a metal chassis. The Pro X 15 also boasts a thing profile.
The real talking point of the laptop is the new OLED display which Xiaomi refers to as 'Super Retina'. The screen has a brightness of 600 nits and offers a pixel density of 261 pixels per inch with a resolution of 3456x2160. It also comes with Gorilla Glass Protection.
Intel's 11th generation processors run under the hood with Xiaomi opting for H-series variants of Intel's mobile CPUs and providing options to customers with the choice of either a Intel Core i5 1130H or Core i7 11370H. As for the GPU, Xiaomi has gone with Nvidia's RTX 3050Ti. The laptop will have 32GB of RAM.
Coming to the storage options, The Pro X 15 has options between 512GB or 1TB PCIe SSD drives. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Home and will be upgradable to Windows 11 later this year.
The Pro X 15 has a full sized track pad and DTS support for audio. It also has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, one USB type-C port, one Thunderbolt port, one HDMI 2.1 port, one USB A 3.2 Gen2 port and a 3.5mm headphone out.
