Ahead of the iPhone 8's launch, Former Pebble creator Eric Migicovksy aims to make charging Airpods a little easier by directly integrating an AirPod charger into an iPhone case
Like most wireless headphones, Apple’s AirPods need to be charged often as well: which is usually done through its separate case.
PodCase, which is the new Kickstarter project from a former Pebble creator Eric Migicovksy aims to make the process a little easier by directly integrating an Airpod charger into an iPhone case.

The name of Migicovsky’s new venture is Nova Technology and it describes ‘PodCase’ as a “slim case for carrying and charging your iPhone and AirPods," which appears to be so.
Chief head Migicovsky describes the venture as a fresh move for him and also the first in a series of innovation he is set to roll out after Pebble.
The PodCase, in addition to storing air pods, also includes a 2,500 mAh internal battery, which apparently is enough for charging your iPhone fully, and offers 40 air pod charges at a go.
A report in The Verge states that while the PodCase, being a slim case for carrying and charging your iPhone and AirPods is a useful device as it both stores and charges AirPods on the go it is not exactly fit-into-your pocket material.
As for the case’s power supply, it has a USB-C Type port which you can use to zoom it to full charge.
The PodCase will be launched in two sizes for now-one for the iPhone 7 and one for the iPhone 7 Plus, with another one lined up for the iPhone 8 after its release.
PodCase is being developed a fairly experienced team- Pebble founder Migicovsky is accompanied by Steve Johns, who happens to be one of the leading industrial designers at Pebble.
Since its acquisition by Fitbit in December, smart watch maker Pebble has remained stagnant.
Also on board is Allan Evans, who is the founder of Avegant, a mixed reality platform.
The PodCase comes at a price of USD 79 per piece (Rs 5,057) as an early bid on Kickstarter and will shoot up to USD 89 (approx. Rs 5,700) once these are sold.
Shipping will commence February 2018 onwards, after which PodCase looks forward to sold at retail price a USD 99 (approx. Rs 6,340)
Podcase is a crowd funded project on Kickstarter, the world’s largest crowdfunding platform.
