Samsung just dropped a new UV sterilizer in India that supports wireless charging. Samsung’s UV sterilizer can be used to quickly disinfect your Galaxy smartphone, Galaxy Buds, or Galaxy smartwatch in just 10 minutes. The UV sterilizer also doubles as a wireless charger.
According to Samsung, its new UV sterilizer has been tested by two independent certification institutes, Intertek and SGS. The results of the testing confirm that the sterilizer can effectively kill up to 99 percent of bacteria and germs that include includes E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Candida albicans.

The sterilizer is designed to fit a variety of device sizes. It features dual UV lights that can sterilize items on the front and bottom simultaneously. The sterilizer is easy to use, and all you have to do is press a single button to switch it on. Once switched on, it sterilizes your phone and automatically goes off after 10 minutes.
Samsung’s UV sterilizer comes with a 10W wireless charger that can be used to power supported Galaxy devices. And charging will continue after your device has been sterilized. Any device with Qi-compatible wireless charging can be charged. The Samsung UV Sterilizer is priced at Rs 3,599 and will be available in early August 2020 across all retail channels partners.
