South Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung is all geared up to launch the anticipated Galaxy S7 in India today.
The phone, launched alongside the Galaxy S7 Edge at the Mobile World Congress 2016, comes with an always-on display and, as the company claims, also brings the first Dual Pixel camera on a smartphone.
Crafted with 3D glass and metal, it comes with a 5.1-inch QHD display. The phone features a 12 megapixel dual pixel rear lens.
Samsung has brought back the ability to expand memory with the new Galaxy S7 phone. The hybrid SIM card tray allows users to insert a microSD card for up to 200GB of additional storage and in some select countries, the tray can be used with a dual SIM card. The company has also increased the RAM from 3 GB to 4 GB in the new phone.
The phone draws its juice from a 3000mAh battery and it is both water and dust resistant.
Galaxy S7 comes in four different colours - Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, White Pearl and Silver Titanium. The price and availability details of the new smartphone will be announced at the event.
