Samsung Galaxy Watch4 is expected to launch soon. The company is rumoured to launch the Galaxy Watch4 Active as Watch4 on June 28. It is likely to go on sale starting August 3 in select markets. Ahead of the launch, key Samsung Galaxy Watch4 details have leaked online.
The upcoming Samsung smartwatch will launch in four colour options - Black, Silver, Rose Gold and Dark Green. As per the leaked renders by 91Mobiles, the Galaxy Watch4 design is quite similar to the Watch Active 2. It will have a round dial with a very thin bezel around the display. The right edge of the smartwatch houses two buttons that are likely to power on/off the device and access various functions.
Samsung will launch the Galaxy Watch4 in two screen sizes. It will have a 40mm and a 44mm dial. The underside of the smartwatch reveals some key specifications. The Watch4 will come with 5ATM water resistance, MIL-STD 810G durability, GPS, and Gorilla Glass DX+ protection. It is also likely to launch with multiple strap options as a separate accessory. The render images suggest that Samsung will launch some Galaxy Watch 4 straps in Red, Blue, and Yellow colour options.
The smartwatch will run on an operating system based on Tizen OS and Google’s Wear OS. Samsung is also expected to launch another smartwatch, which was rumoured to launch as a successor to the Galaxy Watch3. It will have 42mm and 46mm screen sizes. The Galaxy Watch3 successor’s 42mm model with the model number SM-R880 was spotted on the Safety Korea certification website. The listing revealed that the device will come with a 240 mAh battery.
Samsung is yet to confirm the official launch date of the Galaxy Watch4. The company could announce more details at its MWC 2021 event on June 28.
