Realme 8s design renders and specifications have been leaked online. The new Realme smartphone will have some upgrades over the Realme 8, which was unveiled earlier this year. The company has not yet announced the Realme 8s launch date in India.
The leaked specifications suggest that Realme 8s will draw power from a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. The device comes with 5G network support and is likely to pack up to 8GB of RAM. The 91Mobiles report, citing OnLeaks, also claims that Realme will launch its budget 5G smartphone with 256GB of internal storage. The phone will also bring support for 5GB of virtual RAM, which will be utilised from the device’s internal storage.
The phone has a rectangular camera module on the back. It comes with a triple-camera setup on the back with a 64MP primary sensor. Details of the other two sensors are unknown. These could either be an ultrawide + macro or a macro + depth sensor setup. The LED flash is located inside the camera module.
The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, suggesting that it will sport an IPS LCD. The report claims that the upcoming smartphone from Realme will sport a 6.5-inch display. It is likely to have a punch-hole display.
Other Realme 8s specifications include a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support, a 16MP front camera and Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 out of the box. The device will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port on the bottom edge.
