Oppo is gearing up to introduce a new Reno phone in India this week. The company is holding a launch event for the Oppo Reno4 Pro on July 31 in India. Oppo seems to be taking a page out of OnePlus’ playbook, confirming that it will unveil the Reno4 Pro in India through an online AR-powered launch event.
The Oppo Reno4 Pro launch event will be held on July 31 at 12:30 pm (IST). You can watch the launch event for the Reno4 Pro on the company’s official YouTube channel (OPPO Mobile India). While the wait for the Reno4 Pro continues, the Reno4 series, including the Reno4 Pro, has already been unveiled in China.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 765G chipset, although there is some speculation that the phone may use a different chipset in India, probably the Snapdragon 720G SoC. The Reno4 Pro packs a 4,000 mAh battery with 65W fast wired charging - SuperVOOC 2.0. The phone runs on Android 10 with ColorOS 7.2 skin.
The Reno4 Pro boasts a triple-camera setup with a 48 MP primary sensor with OIS, a 13 MP telephoto module, and a 12 MP ultrawide snapper. However, there are rumours that the phone may arrive with a quad-camera setup in India. The Reno4 Pro sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole camera cutout on the screen houses a 32 MP shooter for selfies.
