Motorola to launch Z2 Force in India on February 15

The flagship phone was unveiled in the US in July 2017 at a price of USD 799.

Lenovo owned Motorola is all set to launch Moto Z2 Force together with Moto TurboPower Pack Mod in India. The launch will take place on February 15 at 12 in the afternoon. The flagship phone was unveiled in the US in July 2017 at a price of USD 799 (approx Rs 51,380).

Moto TurboPower Pack

Moto TurboPower Pack, the additional Mod consists of a 3500 mAh battery which supports fast charging and has an output of 15W. According to the company, the Mod can power a phone for upto 7 hours in 15 minutes of charging.

Moto Z2 Force

Coming to the specifications of the phone, Moto Z2 Force sports a 7000 series aluminium build and has a unibody design. The phone measures 76 x 155.8 x 6.1 mm and weighs 143 grams.

On the display front, Z2 Force features a 5.5 inch Quad HD POLED ShatterShield screen with a display resolution of 1440 x 2560.

The phone is powered by the mighty octa-core Snapdragon 835 processor which is clocked at 2.35 GHz. The phone features 4GB RAM and has an internal memory of 64GB which can be further expanded to upto 2TB by way of microSD card.

Z2 Force features 12 megapixel dual IMX 386 rear cameras with an aperture rate of f/2.0 with one RGB sensor while the second one is a monochrome sensor. The sensors are capable of capturing 4K videos at 30fps and 1080p videos at 30fps. In addition the cameras support Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), Laser Auto Focus apart from the regular LED flash for low-light photography. The phone has a 5 megapixel wide-angle lens with an aperture rate of f/2.2 at the front.

The phone comes with an Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and is powered by a 2730 mAh battery which the company claims will last an entire day on standard usage.

In addition to these, the phone has regular features such as 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C port, and Bluetooth 4.2 (upgradable to Bluetooth 5.0 with Android 8.0 Oreo update).
