Huawei sub-brand Honor just dropped two new budget smartphones in India. The Honor 9A and Honor 9S are compact entry-level smartphones designed for budget-conscious consumers.
Honor 9A Specs and Honor 9S Price
The Honor 9A is priced at Rs 9,999, while the Honor 9S costs Rs 6,499. However, both phones will be available at an inaugural price of Rs 8,999 for the Honor 9A, while the Honor 9S will be available at a special inaugural price of Rs 5,999. The Honor 9A and Honor 9S will go on sale on August 6 on Flipkart and Amazon India, respectively.
Honor 9A Specs
The Honor 9A is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. The phone features 64GB of storage, which can be expanded up to 512GB via a dedicated MicroSD card slot. The Honor 9A sports a 6.3-inch HD+ LCD panel with a waterdrop notch.
In optics, the Honor 9A boasts a triple camera setup with a 13 MP primary sensor, a 5 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2 MP depth sensor. The waterdrop notch on the front houses an 8 MP selfie camera. The Honor 9A packs a 5,000 mAh battery with a fingerprint reader on the back.
Honor 9S Specs
The Honor 9S features the same chipset but is limited to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage (Expandable up to 512GB). The phone sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with thick top and bottom bezels. The Honor 9S boasts a 3,020 mAh battery that charges over Micro-USB. The Honor 9S opts for an 8MP main camera and a 5 MP selfie camera.The Honor 9A is available in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue colour options, while the Honor 9S comes in Blue and Black colours. Both phones run on Android 10 along with Magic UI 3.1 on top. Additionally, Huawei's AppGallery replaces the Google Play Store.
