Motorola has expanded its range of smartphones in India with the launch of Edge 50 Pro. Motorola claims that the smartphone features an AI Powered Pro-Grade Camera with true colours and vast range of human skin tones validated by Pantone.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro: Key features
The Edge 50 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and comes in two RAM variants — 8GB and 12GB with 256GB storage. The smartphone runs on Android14-based Hello UI. The phone boasts a large 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Motorola claims that this display is the world's first to be validated by Pantone for better colour accuracy.
The smartphone has a triple rear camera set up with a primary 50MP sensor for OIS, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor and a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3X optical zoom. For selfies, there’s a 50MP camera at the front.
Motorola claims that there are quite a few AI-powered features in the Edge 50 Pro’s camera setup. For instance, there’s AI Adaptive Stabilisation that uses AI to determine the speed of movement while filming, and adjusts the stabilisation level. There’s also Intelligent Auto Focus Tracking that claims to provide sharp, clear videos by using AI to keep the subject in focus even as it moves through the frame.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro is backed by 4500mAh battery with 125W fast wired charging. Motorola claims that the phone can be fully charged in just 15 minutes. There's also support for up to 50W wireless charging.
The phone will be available in three colour variants — Black Beauty, Luxe Lavender, and Moonlight Pearl.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro: Price, availability, offersThe Edge 50 Pro is priced at Rs 31,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs 35,999. Consumers will further be able to avail a special introductory offer of additional Rs 2,000 discount for a limited period only. The smartphone will go on sale from April 9 on Flipkart, Motorola.in and leading retail stores including Reliance Digital.
