Just last week, Microsoft’s Office 365 services were hit by an outage that lasted for almost three hours. North American users of Office 365 and SkyDrive reported that they were unable to get through their emails and calendars. Now, Microsoft is addressing these issues of Office 365 outage and citing 'networking interruption' as the cause. Another outage also affected the users of one of Microsoft's other service, called Dynamics CRM online. However, according to ZDNet report, both the outage instances cannot be attributed to a single cause. Apparently, while the Office 365 outage was caused due to a 'networking interruption', Dynamics CRM online was down owing to some site configuration issue.

Now, it so seems that not only is Microsoft going out addressing issues and providing replies to those affected by the outage, but is also offering credit to those whose businesses got affected. Microsoft sent an email to those affected by the outage stating that each one of those afftected would receive as credit, 25 percent of their monthly invoices.
