CES may have just ended, but Sony has no plans for ending product announcements this month. The brand has introduced three new cameras from their Cyber-shot range and launched the DSC-WX70, the DSC-WX50 and their top-of-the-line compact, the DSC-TX200V from Sony’s T series. The other two models come from Sony’s W series and each of these cameras feature the brand’s Exmor R CMOS sensor and an improved BIONZ image processor. The brand claims that the combination of these two help in boosting low light performance as well as improved auto-focus speeds and other features.Speaking at the announcement, Yosuke Tomoda, director of the Cyber-shot business at Sony Electronics said, “We continue to innovate in the compact camera space, finding new ways to help consumers produce high-quality photos and videos as easily as possible, regardless of lighting conditions. With new technologies designed to improve the overall imaging experience - including extended creativity, control and more - this new lineup of Cyber-shot cameras delivers impressive results with stylish, pocket-sized bodies.” Click here for full story
