Goa's traditional carnival floats, led by the mythical King Momo, began in Panaji on February 22 and will travel to all major towns in the state over the next three days.
"Those holding the Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card should be more concerned about what is happening in Portugal or London. Leave Goa to us, we are here to take care of it. We know you love Goa, but be positive about the state. Don't create roadblocks," the minister said.
GFP president and former Deputy Chief Minister Vijai Sardesai said they will interact with people who are ready to oust the BJP government in Goa through Maharashtra-like model.
The GFP, with three MLAs, is an ally in the BJP-led state government and its president Vijai Sardesai is one of the two deputy chief ministers in it.
The GFP and Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party's three MLAs each, an equal number of Independents, and BJP legislators have been meeting since late Sunday night to reach a consensus on Parrikar's successor.
The minister said the confidence of investors in Goa is going down due to various factors, which should not happen.
"The committee will begin its work immediately. Various aspects related to these heritage structures, like their colour, texture and other factors would be specified by the committee," Sardesai said.
