Samsung has expanded its popular A-series lineup in India with the launch of the Galaxy A17 5G, positioned as its most affordable AI smartphone. With a slim design, AI-driven features, and long-term software support, the device is aimed squarely at festive-season buyers.
The smartphone was unveiled along side Galaxy A56 and A36 smartphones earlier this month but Samsung hadn't revealed the pricing and availability.
The A20 is expected to be launched with the Galaxy A90 that is likely to be rolled out on April 10 in India.
According to the listings, the A40 has a smaller screen compared to the currently available A10, A30, and A50.
The Galaxy A series is Samsung’s bet to compete with Chinese brands like Oppo and Vivo in the mid-budget smartphone category. All three phones run on the Android Pie based Samsung One UI.
