Japanese office products maker Ricoh plans to slash 10,000 jobs in three years, as part of efforts to trim costs. Ricoh, which has good presence in India, is looking at ways to rejuvenate its business after being impacted by the 2008 global financial crisis as well as the recent earthquake in Japan.
Ricoh India, a unit of Japan's Ricoh Co Ltd, is in talks to acquire an Indian IT services firm and hopes to close the deal by May this year, Managing Director N Maitra, said on Thursday.
