    • Coal scam: CBI moves SC to modify its order

      The Central Bureau of Investigation moved to the Supreme Court to modify an earlier order on the coalgate scam. It seeks change in the order passed on May 8 which directed the agency not to share any information with the government.

    • CBI probes allocation, misuse of coal blocks

      Sources in CBI say that two preliminary enquiries are being conducted related to coal block allocation and misuse of blocks by private sector companies. Sources also indicate the preliminary enquiries may be completed in two-to-three months.
