BMW entered Formula E back in 2018 and has since claimed a number of wins and podiums. The company has been using Formula E as a 'tech lab' for the development and transfer of technology from racing to mass production. They now claim that tech transfer has all but reached its limits

Mahindra is among the 10 teams competing in Formula E, the world's first fully-electric racing series. The inaugural season of the Formula E Racing Series had commenced in Beijing in September 2014 and will run until June 2015, competing in 10 of the world's leading cities including Berlin and London.
