Crude is on the boil. Brent crude oil price crossed the USD 100 per barrel mark, amid the market struggling to deal with rising inflation. Egypt’s escalating political turmoil is the main cause of concern at the moment, says Jason Feer of Argus Media, in an interview on CNBC-TV18.

India could grow at 8.5-8.7% in fiscal year 2011—that’s the word from finance minister Pranab Mukherjee. Further he said the rise in crude oil prices though is a matter of concern for India, but, is confident of handling the spurt in rates.

LME Copper gained over USD 200/tonne yesterday, within striking distance of USD 10000/tonne. US Copper went up by 2%. Copper has gained over 8% in the last week.
