The family of Divya Pandey, 24, who claimed she had cracked the civil services examination in her maiden attempt, on Friday apologised for furnishing erroneous information of her success and said it was an "inadvertent error".

Coal India, the world's largest miner of dry fuel, recorded an output of 121.33 million tonnes (MT) in April-June 2015, recording a 12 percent growth over the same period previous fiscal.
According to latest data (October 13) by the Central Electricity Authority, total fuel stocks at 103 coal-based stations have come down to 7.2 million tonnes. This 7.2 million tonnes comprise 6.58 million tonnes of indigenous coal and 7.06 lakh (rpt 7.06 lakh) tonnes of imported fuel.
