The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is soon going to start probing telecom license grants after 2001, reports CNBC-TV18. The probe will start after CBI files charge sheet on 2008 licenses.

CBI will inform the Supreme Court tomorrow on its progress in the probe into 2G sperctrum scam including the finding of its quizzing of DMK chief M Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi and his wife Dayalu Ammal on alleged transfer of money from a Mumbai-based firm to Kalaignar TV in which both jointly own 80% stake.
