Congress President Rahul Gandhi challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reduce fuel prices in the country, considering the steep 11th hike in a row.

On Thursday, Modi accepted Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli’s fitness challenge on Twitter.
“Challenge accepted, Virat! I will be sharing my own #FitnessChallenge video soon. @imVkohli #HumFitTohIndiaFit,” the prime minister tweeted.
Kohli, had challenged PM Modi to take up a fitness challenge, along with wife and actress Anushka Sharma and fellow cricketer MS Dhoni.
“I have accepted the #FitnessChallenge by @ra_THORe sir. Now I would like to challenge my wife @AnushkaSharma , our PM @narendramodi ji and @msdhoni Bhai for the same. #HumFitTohIndiaFit #ComeOutAndPlay, (sic),” Kohli had tweeted.
Petrol and diesel prices continue to soar in the country and touched another peak on May 24. The price of petrol was hiked by 26 paise to Rs 85.29 per litre in Mumbai.This is the 11th straight hike in a row. Diesel prices on the other hand, were hiked by 16 paise to Rs 72.96 per litre in Mumbai. Petrol prices in Delhi were increased by 26 paise to Rs 77.47 per litre and diesel by 15 paise to Rs 68.53 per litre.
