'Could have lost his eyesight, has gone to UK for treatment': AAP leader shares big update on Raghav Chadha

Delhi minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Saurabh Bharadwaj on Tuesday provided an update on the whereabouts of Raghav Chadha, saying that the Rajya Sabha member is in the UK for his eye treatment.

"He is in the UK; there was a complication in his eyes and I was told that it was quite critical that he could have lost his eyesight as well. He has gone there to get treatment. I have my best wishes with him," Bharadwaj told news agency ANI.

Bharadwaj further mentioned that as soon as Chadha gets better, he will be back in India and join the party in election campaigning.

Questions are being raised since the last few days over the absence of Chadha at a crucial time for AAP -- especially with arrest of the party's supremo Arvind Kejriwal in the liquor policy case as well as the ongoing Lok Sabha elections 2024.

Having said that, Chadha, the Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab has been regularly posting snippets -- of the party's rallies as well as Sunita Kejriwal's addresses -- from his social media account.
